Telenor enters into agreement with Geomatikk AS for documentation control

Telenor is ordering an expansion of the telecommunications network involving suppliers who carry out physical construction and work on documentation in Telenor’s network documentation systems. In order to ensure that the documentation is of a high standard, Telenor has entered into an agreement with Geomatikk AS for documentation control in the Fixed field.

Geomatikk will perform an acceptance inspection of the network documentation to ensure that the assignments are documented in accordance with Telenor’s requirements. The results of the inspection are recorded in Telenor’s quality system, and any deviations are followed up on with the contractor.

Geomatikk is already hard at work checking documentation, with the agreement set to run until December 31st 2019.
