Micado provides four main products: TelMeWeb, TelMePlan, TelMe and Kartserver.no. and provides software for planning, operations and maintenance to some of the largest fiber network providers in Norway. These are tools and solutions for planning, documentation and operation of physical fiber networks that are delivered to some of the largest fiber network suppliers in Norway. Micado possesses strong expertise in the combination of geographical information systems and fiber networks.

Providing software and services for fiber documentation is a natural expansion in Geomatikk’s value chain and with Micado as part of our team we are expanding our product offerings to our existing customer base. By doing this, we will continue to invest in product development and transitioning to a SaaS-based product portfolio.

Geomatikk is a company we have known well for many years, and by becoming part of a larger company, we will get access to resources and expertise in sales, marketing and IT operations, which will contribute to further growth and development of Micado’s software portfolio. Also, our developers will be part of a larger community with the benefits this provides in a SaaS-world that places even higher demands on vendors, says Paul Hinsch, Managing director and founder of Micado.

Micado is incredibly talented and has really succeeded in the market by delivering exceptional user-friendly solutions with a strong focus on solving customer’s needs. We are now looking forward to getting Paul and his team into the Geomatikk Group and to further developing the company and the products together, says Geir Hansen, CEO of Geomatikk Group.
