Geomatikk acquires software company KP System

Stockholm, Sweden, September 4th, 2024

Geomatikk Sverige has acquired all shares of KP System, which specializes in solutions for excavation permits within the municipal sector. This acquisition is part of Geomatikks strategy to broaden its product portfolio to provide sustainable, efficient, and secure software and services to manage and protect critical infrastructure.

Geomatikk Group is a leading infrastructure management and protection company in the Nordics delivering software and services for municipal excavation permits network information systems and network protection. The group has about 700 employees with operations in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Spain.

Based in Växjö, KP Systems has seven employes and offers Panorama, a leading software for municipal excavation permits with over 20 customers in Sweden. KP System also provides KP Kalkyl, a software for calculating excavation costs, used by more than 270 customers in Sweden.

Geomatikk already offers the product GeoPermit, a software for managing municipal excavation permits, with around 80 customers in Sweden and Norway. Both GeoPermit and Panorama are delivered as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).
